John Mica Healthcare Teleconference

U.S. Reps. John Mica is inviting constituents to submit their phone number to be called as the lawmakers answer constituents' health care questions.

Mica's teleconference has been scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 24. To register, constituents can visit his Web site at www.house.gov/mica/ or call any of his offices.

Rusty Roberts, Mica's chief of staff, said this format is similar to calling into a radio talk show. But at least one constituent is unhappy about his representative's decision not to do it in person.
